Performance

The 718 and 718 T models feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged horizontally opposed engine with direct fuel injection, VarioCam Plus, and integrated dry sump lubrication. It’s able to reach 300 horsepower with a maximum torque of 280 lb-ft. The 718 models are also equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission which matches the respective engine characteristics.

The Sport button allows you to select a suspension set-up and put the emphasis on either comfort or sport performance depending on your preference. The Sport Chrono Package is standard for the 718 T and 718 GTS 4.0 models and available as an added option for all other 718 models. The package provides an even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine, and transmission to deliver a more thrilling driving experience.

Interior

Inside of the 718 Boxster is a clean performance-oriented cabin. There are multiple seating options available to auto shoppers to choose from, the standard Sport Seats are equipped with electric backrest adjustment as well as mechanical height adjustment.

The Sport Steering Wheel has a three-spoke, lightweight design. The steering wheel features two alloyed gearshift paddles which provide short shift throws. The horizontally designed center console shortens the reach between the steering wheel and the gear lever for easy access.

Exterior

The front end features air intakes that give the 718 Boxster a wider look. On the 718 GTS 4.0 models the impression is even further enhanced by larger air intakes, black external airblades, and black front spoiler.

The fenders are higher than the hood which shows the unmistakable Porsche silhouette. Air intakes are also featured on the side as well as larger wheel arches that can fit up to 20 inch wheels. On the rear you’ll find four LED brake lights surrounding the horizontal tail lights as well as an accent trim between the two taillights.

In the 718 GTS 4.0 models the brakes were reinforced for higher performance with six-piston aluminum brakes.
