2023 911 Dakar

The new Porsche 911 Dakar pays homage to the legendary 911 Carrera 3.2 4×4 Paris-Dakar. Performance and endurance are essential when it comes to rallying and the new 911 Dakar certainly does not disappoint. Suited for off-road rally driving as well as on-road performance, the 2023 911 Dakar adds versatility to the original concept.

Performance

The 911 Dakar can take you from the road, to gravel, or sand with its stiff engine mounts, rear axle steering, and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control. It can reach up to 437 horsepower which is transferred to all four wheels by the 8-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung.

There is no need to worry about clearance because the 911 Dakar’s sport suspension adds an additional 1.5 inches of ground clearance than the standard 911. The 911 Dakar also has a specially developed lift system that can add another 1.18 inches of clearance at the front and rear.

The Sport Chrono Package includes two additional performance setups. Rallye mode is for gravel roads, muddy tracks, and wet grass. Offroad mode is for sand dunes and rocky passages, and Rallye Launch Control ensures a great rally stage start on loose ground.

Exterior

The front fascia adds additional exterior protection made of stainless steel with reinforced forged aluminum towing eye. The wheels are 19/20-inch 911 Dakar light-alloy forged wheels with all-terrain tires and side skirts with stainless steel inlays and wheel arch extensions. The rear fascia also features stainless steel protection and a towing eye in Red with a fixed rear spoiler.

The front trunk lid is made of lightweight carbon-fiber reinforced plastic and has integrated air vents. With the Rallye Design Package the 911 Dakar features a two-tone paint finish in White/Gentian Blue Metallic with decorative stripes in Gold/Red.

Interior

Inside of the 911 Dakar cockpit drivers will find the GT Sport Steering Wheel covered in non-slip Race-Tex. A few other specifications include, the PDK shift paddles and a mode switch for selecting driving modes. The additional Race-Tex elements include the dashboard, door and center console inlays which are combined with the trim in Ceramica.

Full bucket seats are built for keeping you steady while the 911 Dakar performs. The full shell is made of carbon-fiber reinforced plastic and remains light weight while offering great support.
