Classic Porsche Restoration Services

Depending on the condition of your Classic Porsche, and your budget, you can choose to do a full restoration or just focus on specific areas of your vehicle. Our team can handle any or all of the following:

Engine & Transmission Restoration: The engine and transmission are carefully inspected to make sure that everything runs smoothly. If necessary, they are completely disassembled and cleaned while defective parts are replaced. The original measurement values specified by the factory are used as the basis for the engine settings. Next, the performance is measured on the test stand and results are documented and displayed in a diagram.

Body Work: After the corrosion is removed from the body shell all of the cavities are then opened for a paint removal bath. The frame is precisely aligned on the straightening bench with frame gauges for the doors and windows. Extremely corroded areas are cut out of the body and replaced with new genuine parts. Next, comes the trial assembly where all of the untreated body is assembled on the straightening bench and all gap dimensions are adjusted. CDPB and Paint Finish: The bodyshell gets treated to a cathodic dip painting bath. The CDPB ensures that the primer is evenly applied to every cavity. The CDPB allows for the paint particles to adhere evenly and securely to the body and all cavities, providing a high degree of corrosion protection.

Interior Restoration: Specialists can treat the interior, including the upholstery or completely renovate it using materials of the same high quality as the original materials.

Procedure At Our Porsche Classic Restoration Shop

Cost Estimate: Our Porsche Classic specialists will draw up a rough estimate of cost based on photos and / or discussions with you, the owner. Interested in a full rebuild? The engine, transmission, electrical, chassis, body, paint, and interior will all be estimated separately so you can decide on the scope of work you’d like to go ahead with.

Vehicle Delivery: Once the vehicle arrives, our experts will examine the vehicle to better determine the work required and provide a more exact cost estimate.

Disassembly: For a full restoration the vehicle is fully disassembled and all of the parts are removed from the bodyshell, to the engine, to the interior equipment. This is the only way to fully determine the condition of the classic vehicle.

Restoration Work: Full-restoration or not, our team will get to work on restoring your Classic Porsche, whether that be mechanical, electrical, cosmetic, or all of the above. You may also consider installing upgrades like the Porsche Classic Communications Management (PCCM) system, which will take your radio system into the 21st century and beyond.

Completion: The last step is a test drive and / or inspection of the areas worked on. Only when our Porsche Classic Specialists are completely satisfied with their work will we consider the job done.
