Types of Porsche Classic Motoroils

• 20W-50- for 365, 914, and early 911 models

• 10W-60- for 911 models with a displacement of 3.0 liters and above

• 10W-50- for 924, 944, 968, and 928 models

• 5W-50- for 996 and 986 models of all derivatives

Development of Porsche Classic Motoroils

Engineers from the Porsche Development Center and experts from Porsche Classic teamed up to create the type of motoroils that are optimized for classic Porsche engines. The goal was to fine-tune these oils to specifically work with the materials used by Porsche.

These motoroils have been extensively tested in the lab and on the road to ensure that they are compatible with Porsche materials, run well, and have the right lubricating properties. The developers also took longer vehicle stationary times into consideration because classic cars are often used occasionally and cannot always be warmed up as sufficiently.

The special formulation of Porsche Classic Motoroils counteracts the effects of things like acidification of the oil and condensation and combustion residues collecting in the engine.
