  3. Push the oil dipstick back into the tube and pull it back once more to reveal the current oil level
  4. The oil level must be between the minimum and maximum markings

Check Oil Using The Instrument Cluster

The engine oil level can be checked whether the engine is cold or at operating temperature when using the instrument cluster. The vehicle must be on a flat surface with the engine off and the ignition switched on. Check the oil by pushing the on-board computer lever forward and using the operating lever to select the ‘OIL’ menu item.
